I was a child that had a lot of hair. I was very social and liked to talk to other children and adults. My friends were a mix of boys and girls and they were all a lot of fun. I could sleep in as late as i wanted when i was really little. My mom would make me sit at the table until I ate them. That really did not work because I would just sit there. Our neighborhood had a lot of kids, and we spent all summer playing.
We considered an entire two or three blocks to be our private playground, playing hide-and-seek or war. When I went to school I played basketball will all the bigger kids. I used to play soccer for my school. I was very misbehaved as a little boy. I was always in timeout and detention. At recess everyone would play softball so I would try to play but the older kids would always take my turn. Then they saw I was really good so they let me play.

1. I was born in Portland, Maine in the hospital at 12:00 a.m.

3. My family got robbed and my dad was shot in the arm
4. I received an M.V.P. award for the high school musical
Future:

7. I meet a beautiful girl named Maria at work
8. We get married after knowing each other for 3 years
9. We have 5 kids, 3 boys and 2 girls.
10. I die at the age of 99 in my sleep peacefully at the hospital
the FUTURE part indicates that the sentences after that should be in the Future tense because it hasn’t happend yet. So for example ” i will become a dentist” or ” i am going to marry…, etc.”
I’m kind of in your shoes now except that I don’t have a degree. I still have a long way to go in finishing college. I’ve been struggling to find a job for years. If I’m employed, I tend to struggle on holding down a job due to my disabilities. When I struggle, many people don’t care as they ignore in helping me because it’s not their problem. Most people don’t help me unless they expect something in return.
Unlike most people, my mind works really slow. I take a lot of time in learning and be able to do things correctly. Due to my disabilities and slow pace, I feel I can never accomplish anything in life. I feel frustrated that I can’t even be a full-time student alone. There are people out there that can manage to work full-time, go to school full-time, and take care of kids.
When you find a job, you can try taking one online class to see how well you can handle it.
By the way, put this question in the “People with Disabilities” section. I believe you’ll get more answers there in helping you find a job and accommodate your disability.
Do you think it’s best for me to work for a while & THEN take online classes or do both simultaneously?
I already have my BA in Spanish. Right now, I’m stressing out because I can’t find a job that would accommodate my disability. I can’t stand for over 15 minutes, so it’s kind of hard. I need a job ASAP, so I can pay for the Spanish translation online classes to take them.
My friend’s boyfriend thinks I should work now & wait until next January to start taking the courses. But I can’t afford to wait until then. I have to start NOW. I’ll be 26 in August, & I’ve been unemployed since 2006, when I got my degree. I also need to pay off my student loans.
How stressful is it to take online classes AND work? I see people who work full-time, go to school ON SITE full-time, AND they have kids & a family to take care of. I’m single with no kids.
I’m putting this in the MENTAL HEALTH section, since stress is mental health related.
I feel like I’m behind in my life, & I don’t feel like I’m moving forward. Because of my mental disability, no one wants to give me a chance @ working. & no one, including some of my family, don’t want me to work.
I didn’t go to college for nothing. I want to put my degree to use.
spanish translation help please?
(the online translators don’t work. i know its long, but i really need your help!! I have to write an essay about my childhood, so please use preterit AND imperfect tenses to translate this. thanks for taking your time! if you cant do the whole thing at least do some of it. it ll really help me out. Thanks!
When I was 9, I lived in Fremont. During this time, I had just come to America from my home country. Fremont was very boring for me, since I did not know anyone. Also, there were no kids in my neighborhood, so I could not play with anyone. I moved to Fremont during the 4th grade summer because my dad’s job was here. I lived with my mom, my dad, and my sister.
When I first came to Fremont, I was very skinny and short. Since I was lonely during the summer, I was at home watching television most of the time. I liked to play soccer, but there was no one to play with. So, over the summer, I was at home doing nothing but watching tv and playing on the computer.
Since I was new to the U.S, I got to eat a lot of different foods. I loved pasta the moment I ate it, and it has been my favorite food ever since. I hated to eat sushi, it was my least favorite food. At school, I did not like Math because I was bad at it. I liked P.E. because it was fun to play sports.
I like to visit my cousins in San Francisco, because they were a lot of fun to play with. Also, I like to visit the beach in Half Moon Bay. My least favorite memory was the time when I threw up(puked) at the 5th grade spelling bee. My favorite memory was me in disney land.
Finally, I would like to say that my childhood was great. Even though it was hard, it was fun to live in a new country as a 9 year old. I got to try and experience a lot of new things. I got to learn a new language, try new food, and a totally new culture.
